This page will document my stripping and cleaning of the Scotty frame.
As you can see from the first few pics, It was quite a mess to clean up.
This Torsion axle is one of the reasons I decided to use this frame for this particular project instead of the Timberline frame which has normal leaf springs.
One spring is broken, but i have an idea how to fix it.
Here is the frame after being stripped and sanded, flipping it over by myself was NOT a fun thing.
I removed the hitch jack as it did not work, also, the pan for the propane tank had to go, it was too rusted to try to save.
Here's the frame with a few coats of Black Rustoleum.
